Southeast Health System Pharmacists (SEMSHP) 

SEMSHP is a local affiliate of MSHP consisting of      pharmacists, students, and technicians from the      Southeast area of Missouri.

Mission and Objectives:

Our mission is to offer an opportunities for pharmacists, technicians, students, and residents from the Southeast Missouri area to gather, network, and engage with presenters from a variety of places and backgrounds.

  1. To provide the benefits and protection of a qualified health-system pharmacist to the patient, to the institution which the pharmacist serves, to the members of allied health professions with whom the pharmacist is associated, and to the profession of pharmacy.

  2. To assist in providing an adequate supply of such qualified health-system pharmacists.

  3. To assure a high quality of professional practice through the establishment and maintenance of standards of professional ethics, education and attainments and through the promotion of economic welfare.

  4. To promote research in health-system practices and in the pharmaceutical sciences in general.

  5. To disseminate pharmaceutical knowledge by providing for interchange of information among health-system pharmacists and members of allied specialties and professions.
